We had no idea the time we were supposed to meet up until about 12 hours before the tour started. The middleman easily doubled the cost of visiting the canyons! Our operator did not have our start time booked until hours before the tour was supposed to start. I used Trip Advisor because the reviews were good and I did not want to take a ton of time to figure out how to get the timing right to book the events myself. The middle man who was the 'tour operator or arranger' was awful.

The light was poor and shadows covered one side making a good picture nearly impossible.Īgain, the canyons were a 10+ out of 5 stars! Horseshoe bend was neat, but it's a quick stop. There are ladders and stairs.you definitely need to be mobile to go through this canyon. However, our guide was awesome and helped us capture amazing shots.

Our tour through the upper canyon was early (we were the first group through). If you are in the area or can swing a day trip to the canyons it's 100% worth the time. Antelope canyon (upper, lower, and owl canyon) was amazing.
